Game instructions:
Dealing cards
The dealer places 4 tokens in the box and deals 2 cards to each player. Next, one card is turned face up, this is the trump colour. Next, each player receives a further 2 cards.
Game announcement
First, the player to the left of the dealer declares whether he/she wants to muck. Mucking means taking at least 2 tricks. If the player does not want to muck, the player says continue. The game then continues in a clockwise direction.
If nobody wants to muck, all cards are thrown together, the next player pays 4 tokens into the bank and the cards for the next game are dealt.
If a player declares that he wants to play, the other players can either pass or call.
If no one else wants to play, the pot belongs to the Mauschler - without actually having played.
If at least one player calls, the players may discard one or more cards and swap them for new ones. You may only swap once.
Start of the game
When all players have their cards, the Mauschler leads to the first trick.
The players must now use their colour or trump with the trump colour.
You can trump with a higher number or a face card. The following sequence must be observed - Jack - Queen - King - Ace - with Ace being the highest card.
The trick is won by the player with the highest number in the suit played or the trump suit with the highest number.
Scoring
Scoring takes place at the end of the game:
For every trick you win, you receive a quarter of the cash.
If you call and do not win a trick, you pay as much as is in the pot into the cash box as a bête; the same applies to the Mauschler if he only manages to win one trick.
If the Mauschler takes no tricks, he pays double the contents of the pot.
