What is print design?

These printed materials are used to reinforce the company's image or to attract customers.

One example here is the Business card.
It is a necessity in every business. It is used to make connections and expand the circle of business partners or to reach potential customers. Important contact information can be passed on easily.

The Flyer is another popular form of print design.
The advantages here are the low costs, as flyers are usually printed on paper in A5 format, often smaller. They are effective advertising media because they reach the widest audience directly - they are often distributed on the street or find their way into a letterbox.

Further examples of print design:

  • Labels and Packaging design
Used to differentiate products from the competition. They are among the most creative forms of print.

  • Brochures and Menu cards
Some companies need brochures to present their services, products or menus.

  • Posters or Posters
The combination of words and images conveys a clear message to passers-by. For example, an Event poster.

  • Building- and Car wrapping are also part of print design, just like

  • Trade fair- and Event displays.

Print design is often associated with the production of the respective print types. However, this is not the case. The desired designs are commissioned - the printing itself is usually done by a print shop.
